Writing Progressions 1P:
I am learning to
- add some detail to my writing
- choose words to make my writing more interesting
We wrote about about a Kapa Haka Performance that we watched in the auditorium during Māori Language Week. First we wrote 2 sentences and then the next day we added some more writing to make our stories more interesting.
"I like to write about my friends and food. I sound out the words when I can't write it. I know the word love - it's LOVE. I am a good writer."

You wrote a lovely story about the performance we watched Cohen. You are starting to gain confidence in your story writing and are now beginning to write a lot more.
